File Operations

Load images, save results, run batch processing, and navigate through files in a folder.

Open Image File(s)

Two files selected: loaded as separate left and right images.
One file (Spatial Photo / MPO): automatically detected and split into left/right views.
One file (standard image): divided horizontally in half and treated as SBS.

Drag and drop 1 or 2 image files directly onto the window to open them instantly. All images in the same folder are automatically listed so you can browse with ◀ PREV / NEXT ▶.
※ Due to macOS security, you may need to grant folder access when navigating.

Open from Photos Library

Opens photos directly from your macOS Photos library. Choose the picker in SPM menu → Settings... (⌘,). Your choice is saved and used from then on.

Original (default, recommended): A dedicated picker with an album list and a photo grid. The photos of the album you picked are used for PREV / NEXT navigation.
System: The standard macOS photo picker. Only the photos you selected form the list.

Opening photos with the Original picker

1 photo selected: Opens as a single image. ◀ PREV / NEXT ▶ steps through the album one photo at a time.
2 adjacent photos selected: Opens as a left/right pair. PREV / NEXT steps through the album two at a time.
2 non-adjacent photos, or 3 or more: Only the selected photos form the list. With 3 or more, a dialog asks whether to use 2 files per view or 1 file per view.
The selection order is shown as a number on each photo (the lower number is the left image). Double-clicking a photo also confirms the selection.

Stereo view of Reframe photos

When you select exactly one Reframe photo in the Original picker, it opens as an L/R pair: the original image on the left, the reframed image on the right.
When two or more photos are selected, this automatic pairing is not applied.

The Original picker gathers Reframe photos and Spatial photos into their own albums, so they are much easier to find.

⚠️ The L/R pair of a Reframe photo with its original can only be created when opening from the Photos Library. The Photos Library does not export a Reframe photo together with its original, so a photo copied to a Mac folder or dragged and dropped onto this app will not form an L/R pair with the original (it opens as the single reframed image).

⚠️ The L/R pair is made with the very first original image. Any edits made before reframing are not reflected in the original (left) image.

⚠️ Photos opened from the Photos Library are not saved to Recent Files history. You will need to re-select them from the picker each session.

Recent Files

Quickly reopen recently accessed files from the history list.

Only files opened via Open Image File(s) are saved to history.
Photos opened from the Photos Library are never added to history.

Save Displayed Image

Saves the current view — SBS, anaglyph, or any other display mode — as an image file.

Save as Spatial Photo

Exports your work as a Spatial Photo compatible with Apple Vision Pro. Spatial-specific parameters can be fine-tuned in the save dialog.

Process multiple image files at once. Convert and export large collections of stereo photos in a single operation.

Orientation Tag Edit

Edit the Exif Orientation tag of image files. Useful for correcting images that display in the wrong orientation. You can also open the image as a mirror.

Navigation — ◀ PREV / NEXT ▶

Step through images using the ◀ PREV and NEXT ▶ buttons. The current filename and position (e.g., 3 / 12) are shown below the buttons.

When opened from file: All images in the same folder form the navigation list.
When 1 photo, or 2 adjacent photos, are selected in the Original picker: The photos of the chosen album form the list (one at a time for 1 photo, two at a time for 2 photos).
When 3+ photos (or 2 non-adjacent photos) are selected from Photos Library: Only the selected photos form the list. In 2-file-per-view mode, PREV / NEXT advances two at a time; in 1-file mode, one at a time.

Editing Tools

Auto-alignment, cropping, resizing, and color matching. Most operations support Undo / Redo.

Undo / Redo

Step back or forward through auto-alignment, crop, and resize operations. Keyboard shortcuts: ⌘Z to undo, ⌘⇧Z to redo.

Auto Align

Automatically corrects positional offset and rotation between the left and right images, using the same algorithm as the Windows StereoPhoto Maker. Supports Undo / Redo.

Crop

Press Crop to enter crop mode; drag on the image to set the crop area.
Grab the edges to fine-tune the selection.
Long-press on the image to pick a fixed aspect ratio.
Press Crop again or double-click to apply. Supports Undo.

Resize

Resize the image to a specified resolution. Resize settings can be changed in settings. Supports Undo / Redo.

Auto Color Matching

Automatically matches the color and exposure between the left and right images. Choose which side to use as the reference:

Left ref.: Adjusts the right image to match the left image's color.
Right ref.: Adjusts the left image to match the right image's color.

View Tab

Display Modes & View Options

Switch between stereo viewing formats, control image scale, toggle fullscreen, and output to an external display.

Swap L/R

Swaps the left and right images. Useful for correcting reversed stereo pairs or switching between parallel and cross-eyed viewing. The button label reflects the current state (Swap L/R or Swap R/L).

Display Modes

Side by Side (SBS)

Full-width left and right images side by side. Great for stereo viewers, parallel, and cross-eyed viewing.

Half SBS

Left and right images compressed to half width. Compatible with 3D TVs and many VR devices.

Gray Anaglyph

Grayscale red-cyan anaglyph. Works with standard red-cyan 3D glasses.

Color Anaglyph

Full-color red-cyan anaglyph. Retains color information while providing depth.

Dubois Anaglyph

High-quality anaglyph using the Dubois algorithm. This mode is optimized for stereoscopic viewing.

Image with Border

Displays left and right images with a decorative border frame. Border style is configurable via a dedicated settings dialog.

Image Scale

Fit to screen: Scale the image to fit the current window size.
Actual image size: Display at 1:1 pixel size (100%).

Fullscreen / External Monitor

Full screen: Expand to fill the main display. Press ESC to exit.
External monitor: Output to a connected second display or projector.

Align Tab

Manual Alignment Panel

Fine-tune the position, rotation, and scale of the right image relative to the left using sliders.

Adjustment Sliders

X (Horizontal): Adjust the horizontal offset between left and right images (−20 to +20).
Y (Vertical): Adjust the vertical offset between left and right images (−20 to +20).
Rot. (Rotation): Rotate the right image to correct angular misalignment (−45° to +45°).
Size (Scale): Scale the right image to correct zoom differences (−100 to +100).
↺ Reset: Return all adjustments to their default (zero) values.

X and Y adjustments can also be made with the keyboard arrow keys: ↑ ↓ ← →.
